INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHANGING THE COMMITTEE PAGE
(If you right click this link instead of left clicking it and choose "Open link in  new tab" or "Open link in new window", you can easily return to this page to refer to it.)
  • If your email and password are not already shown  in the top right corner write them in. Click on the key icon
    • If you do not know your password, click recover password and it will be emailed to you.
  • If we add more pages later, you will first come to a page, where you woiuld choose which pages you wish to work on.
  • This takes you to the page to alter. Use the tool bar across the top of each box to do things like BOLD, ITALICS, LINK etc., When you have finished making the changes you wish to, scroll to the bottom and click "Publish Page". It sometimes takes a few minutes before the changes appear on the website page.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR LINKING IN LAPTOP TO OUR WIRELESS NETWORK


Turn on the desktop computer, make sure the router is plugged in and turned on too. It's hte little grey unit with a moveable aerial and phone wire coming out. Turn on the laptop in the main room. It needs to be a wireless capable laptop or has a USB wifi dongle.
If you are lucky it will atomatically pick it up. If you are given a choice of several networks to link, the one you want is the Belkin one. You will probably be asked for a network key. It is "tsdunedin".
You should then link in. Try and open an web page, or look in the bottom right corner and the little icons, there should be one with two computers (there may be two icons the same. As long as one does not have a line through it you should be right.

The only thing to be aware of is if you leave the computer without using it for too long the network can disconnect. If so, right click on the two computer icon that will now have a bar over it. It should offer you the chance to reconnect.
